Kate Actress became famous after her stint as Celina on the popular TV show Mother in law. Since then, she hasn’t looked back, with new shows like Sue na Johnny and PlanB.
The mom of one is also an active Instagram user and often shares a lot concerning her work and personal life.
But she is very selective about what she shares that concerns both her husband and son. She and Phil Karanja got married in 2017 and appear to be the picture of marital bliss, that is if you believe any such thing exists.
In a recent interview on Radio Jambo with Massawe Jappani, the actress explained why that was so. She told the host:
Nikipost picha na my husband they write we are not meant for each other, they just write ugly things, unajua. I don’t understand what the motive is ama ‘you are trying to show off’ and nashangaa because when I post, I post to celebrate someone not to show off. My life has been a journey I was there as a single mum, I am married now. Saa zingine watu hutroll mtoto wako and I get so upset or angry. Some comments hurt me because I am human and sometimes I am like unajua nini they just want attention.
Kate admits that it can be hard dealing with the trolls online but she says that won’t stop her from posting images with her significant other. She told Massawe:
I won’t stop but I have reduced the frequency, I can take the trolling but my family can’t so I have to protect them.
Trolling according to the urban dictionary is a term used in internet parlance, that is the deliberate act, of making random unsolicited and/or controversial comments with the intent to provoke an emotional knee jerk reaction from unsuspecting readers to engage in a fight or argument.
At least Kate has a way of dealing with the trolls.
