Bishop Kiuna has taken to social media ‘in tears’ to celebrate Rev Teresia Wairimu in a touching message;
Am in tears as I appreciate my Mom , the most amazing Rev. Teresa Wairimu! She picked my from the slums and with patience, tons of love, incredible care and matriarchal strength brought me up in the Ways of God. She saw in me the call of God when i had no idea what it means to serve God. She believed in me in spite of all my weaknesses and poured in me the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that i needed to WIN in Life. She REVEALED JESUS TO ME. Am eternally grateful that God had preordained for me to be a son of such an icon of Faith. Words fail me to how much I LOVE MY MOTHER !! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY @revkathykiuna @fem_kenya

Julie Gichuru recounted her experience in 1996,
“On this Mothers Day I celebrate all mothers who have given of themsleves for their children and families, but I also celebrate those who may not be mothers but who step up as mothers.
This was 1996, I was in my third year at University when I first spent a few weeks looking after my darling nephew one cold winter in the UK. He has been my ‘baby’ ever since. Now he is all grown up, a pilot and a wonderful young man. It has been a pleasure and an honour be in his life.
It does not always take motherhood to be a mother. To all those who step up to nurture and care like a mother, I celebrate you. You know yourselves. God bless you, never stop! You too are mothers!
Below are other celebrities whove gone ahead to recognize all mothers in the World with their messages
“Raising kids is not easy nor is it hard but it’s constantly challenging as they grow up,I’ve been lucky to have 2 Strong Black women in my life since the birth of my daughter, who have been with me in every step of that challenge. To My Wonderful Sisters, Happy Mother’s Day. Being sisters together is magical and being able to see my mums character in both of you give me peace.
Most things in life are NOT perfect but I am so grateful that I have found perfection in your love and friendship, Sisters! Happy Mother’s Day To You!

Being a mother isn’t at all easy,and today as we celebrate mother’s day,I would to share with you my story as a mother…
I had a good pregnancy and I thank God for that,even though at the final hours delivery I couldn’t take the pain any more that led me to undergo caeserian section(cs)..I wasn’t able to dilate to 10 cm for 12 hours .. It was a very painful experience to say the least,any mother can relate to that.But I was strong,I had to be strong for my baby,and that’s what mother are…STRONG…so celebrate mothers day and always be strong!!! Happy Mothers Day🥰”

Mother’s Day glow. ☺️ #HappyMothersDay to all the mamas who keep providing for, protecting and loving their children. For all the times you’ve had to shower or take a shit with a toddler in your face, for all the moments you had to break your screen time rules because you just needed a second to yourself, for the times you had to discipline in order to enforce accountability & good behaviour (which turned you into the bad guy)… for the times you had to hold down a little, chunky thigh so that a vaccination could be given, for the breakups you had to patiently watch your child pick themselves up from, for creating routines that formed a big part of our fondest memories… for continuing to mother even when you were tired, heartbroken, struggling financially, or shrouded in self doubt, THANK YOU! No Thanos or Marvel superhero has got anything on you.
Well, we at Mpasho.co.ke wish all mothers a happy mother’s day.
