Comedian Churchill – real name Daniel Ndambuki – is mourning the death of his mother.
The godfather of Kenyan comedy lost his foster mother Joyce Malika after many months of battling an illness.
The news of her death comes as a shock to the godfather of comedy. The late Malika adopted Churchill and has played a great role in his life for him to be the man he is today.
Churchill lost his parents years ago and his foster mother has been the one giving him all the love and care he needed.

In a past Churchill show event, Ndambuki reminisced about his late dad after a man on a wheelchair attended the event.
Speaking to the man, Ndambuki confessed that all his life he never saw his dad walk.
You see that wheelchair you are seated on, my father used to ride one like that, exactly, so I never saw my dad walk.
He asked the disabled man what he wanted and the father of two said he just needed anything that could change his life.

The host then called on Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua who was in attendance to help the disabled man.
The governor announced that he would provide Sh100, 000 to help the man who owns a weighing scale business to change his life.
After that pledge, Churchill who was teary-eyed told the audience member,
“[As for] Your son, someone has offered to take him to school. Someone else has taken your daughter to educate them for the rest of their lives.”
