Miguna Miguna has let the cat out of the bag.
In an interview with Jeff Koinange for the Citizen TV show JKL, the lawyer Miguna Miguna, revealed that a Ksh 250,000 pen was to be used in Raila Odinga’s controversial swearing in.
It was purchased by billionaire Jimmy Wanjigi.
“Jimmy Wanjigi had bought a pen he told me was worth 2,500 dollars, he said that was the pen that was supposed to swear in Raila but it wasn’t there,” he noted.

The collaboration behind the creation of the Mystery Masterpiece required more than a year and a half of efforts by skilled artisans. Only three units of each variation were ever made, and they sold for an eye-popping $730,000 per pen.
