As she has a net worth of $1billion due to the success of her cosmetics company, the 21-year-old make-up mogul was named No. 21 on Forbes’ America’s Richest Self-Made Women list released on Tuesday.
The 65-year-old media mogul has $2.6billion to her name which puts her at No. 10 on that illustrious list.
Not far behind Kylie was Rihanna, 31, who was No. 37 with a net worth of $600million.
As she has had success in both cosmetics (Fenty Beauty) and music, perhaps the We Found Love hitmaker will be jumping up several spots by next year as she just launched her high fashion brand named Fenty with luxury fashion group LVMH.
Coming in at No. 39 was Madonna, 60, whom amassed $570million through her music career as Celine Dion is not that far behind at No. 46 with $450million.
Beyonce, 37, failed to make the top 50 but found herself tied at No. 51 with Barbra Streisand with an estimated fortune of $400million.
Kylie’s half sister Kim Kardashian West, 38, came in at No. 57 with $370million as she earned her money in cosmetics as well as reality TV.
The wife of Kanye West did win this round of her rivalry with Taylor Swift as the 29-year-old pop singer came in at No. 60 with $360million.
Ellen DeGeneres, 61, has a net worth of $330million which earned her the No. 63 spot.
Serena Williams has become the first athlete to make the list of America’s richest self-made women.
With an estimated fortune of $225 million, the 37-year-old tennis star was added to Forbes’ annual list of the country’s Richest Self-Made Women on Tuesday.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion, who has made $89 million in career prize money, finished off the list of 80 women but landed the cover of the magazine.
Williams made about $29 million in the last year alone, mostly as a result of endorsement deals with Nike and JPMorgan Chase and the clothing line she launched in 2018 called S by Serena.
