‘Stand by Wambui,’ Bob Collymore’s last words to CEO Patrick Quarcoo
The Safaricom Boss succumbed to cancer yesterday at his home in Nairobi. He was aged 61.
His wish was to be cremated and the family has fulfilled it. Cremation is to reduce (a dead body) to ashes by fire, especially as a funeral rite.
The family opted forKariokor because it takes a few hours to cremate a body compared to Lang’ata, which takes more than 15 hours to cremate a single body.
