While addressing the press, Abonyo eulogized his wife as a brave fighter.
I want us to be strong for her. She has suffered for a long time but we’ve kept it under wraps, She didn’ want it (the sickness) to deter her duty and all the things that she was doing. She was very strong and we can only reciprocate by also being stronger for her this time and moment,’ he said.
He also asked Kenyans to give the family space to mourn in peace.
Thank you very much and please give family time to mourn her. I know all of us are sad but sometimes its good to give people space.
