Nairobi governor has on many occasions been involved in a war of words with female politicians, with the latest being Millie Odhiambo.
Below are women who have tasted first hand Sonko’s humiliating tactics.
1. Millie Odhiambo
Suba Member of Parliament is the latest victim of Sonko’s tantrums.
Sonko did not only call her names, but he went to demean her for being barren, something Millie did not take so well.
‘I HEAR SONKO HAS ATTACKED ME FOR BEING CHILDLESS. I AM PROUDLY CHILDLESS JUST LIKE SEVERAL OTHER WOMEN AND MEN.
LET US ALL BE PROUD OF OUR VARIOUS GOD-GIVEN CREATIONS INCLUDING COMMAS AND FULLSTOPS.’ She wrote
2. Esther Passaris
Sonko and Passaris were months ago involved in a war of words during a public event.
Sonko bluntly told Passaris that he was not her husband to pick her calls whenever she feels like calling him.
Unanipigia simu mimi si bwana yako.
Anataka kunipiganisha na wamama na mimi nawapenda sana wamama,” said Sonko.
(I am not your husband so don’t call me.
You want to clash heads between me and women yet I love them dearly.)
Sonko went on to add
“Mama mmoja asifanye diversionary tactics za kunikosanisha na wamama. Mimi niko na bibi na watoto wasichana.”
(Don’t let one woman use diversionary tactics to make women and I collide. I have a wife and female kids.)
3. Rachel Shebesh
Former Nairobi Women representative Rachel Shebesh is among female politicians who have tasted first hand Sonko’s humiliating tactics.
Photos of Rachel and Sonko allegedly in a hotel room emerged online.

Sonko hit back at her claiming she wanted to ruin his marriage.
The two also had an altercation within parliament building.
Sonko allegedly was not too pleased that Shebesh was on phone for long with the former premier and he tried wresting the phone, a red Samsung S3, from Shebesh.
The Nairobi women’s representative tried to resist and in the process, sprained her wrist as Sonko pulled the phone from her hand.
Sonko then threw the phone against the wall, before stamping on it, breaking the phone to pieces. A verbal confrontation ensued and the two parted ways.
Five days later, the two met at a National Prayer breakfast hosted by President Uhuru and they avoided each other.
