A police report at Kilimani police station has left a judge with egg on his face.
According to a report under OB 3/26/8/2019 at 04:30hrs, “one Haurellia Mbulwa a female adult aged 56 years, a resident of Denis Pritt in Kilimani that she last contacted her husband namely Martin Muya on phone yesterday at around 22.00 hrs who said that he was heading to their residence.”
When he did not show up by 4:30 am and his calls went unanswered. She reported the matter at Kilimani police station.
The report reads, “her son namely Benjamin Mati monitored the movement of his father’s car registration number KBW 503Q Toyota Harrier black in colour and realised to be moving suspiciously from one point to another within Nairobi which they suspected to be carjacked.

It continued, “The vehicle was circulated and last spotted at Kileleshwa area whereby police shot at the right tyre and deflated it which forced the vehicle to stop.”
The police reveal that “Onboard was only the husband who was very drunk and it was established that he is a sitting judge at Bomet High Court. He denied being carjacked. No one was injured during the incident. The vehicle was towed to Kilimani Police Station.”
